Pim Perrin Taylor was a son to Richard Taylor (b Jul 28, 1769 Richland, Bucks Co, PA - d Feb 11, 1855 Columbiana Co, OH) and Hannah Pim (b Jun 7, 1776 Est Cain Twp, Chester Co, OH - d Feb 17, 1854 Columbiana Co, OH). His mother Hannah (Pim) Taylor named their son Pim to honor her family surname of Pim. Her parents were William Pim and Hannah (Stalker) Pim.

Pim Perrin Taylor married Keziah Whitacre, a daughter to Edward Stacy Whitacre, Sr. and Martha Brown, on Feb 20, 1819, in Columbiana County, Ohio.
