His mother Hannah (Pim) Taylor named their son Pim to honor her family surname of Pim. Her parents were William Pim and Hannah (Stalker) Pim.
Pim Perrin Taylor married Keziah Whitacre, a daughter to Edward Stacy Whitacre, Sr. and Martha Brown, on Feb 20, 1819, in Columbiana County, Ohio.
