Houston – Services for Jennie McBrayer Woodall, 97, who died March 22, 2003, at North Mississippi Medical Center, were held at 1 pm, March 24, 2003, at Okolona Christian Church with David Pannell and R C Wheeler officiating.

Interment was held in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. W E Pegues Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Woodall was a native of Guntown but lived her entire life in Chickasaw County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Saxon Memorial Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George W and Laura Morris McBrayer, her husband, William Martin "Moat" Woodall; eight children, Charlene Cooper, Jeanette Carrier, James Gore Woodall, Inez O'Barr, Murtice Higginbotham, Curtis Woodall, Charlotte Roberts, Carol Fay Autrey; three brothers, Dewey "Son" McBrayer, Leland McBrayer and Gene McBrayer; and three sisters, Alline Smith, Mittie Belle Davis, Clara Harrelson.

Survivors include three daughters, Pauline Tuz of Jackson, Tenn., Irene Earnest and Ann Blansett, both of Okolona; one son, John Woodall of Fulton; one brother, Harvey McBrayer of Guntown; 32 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; and 39 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Steven Tuz, Marty Pitts, Dale O'Barr, Dennis O'Barr, James Blansett, Larry Wilts and Travis Pitts.


They have a Daughter Charlene W Cooper that is buried in San Jose Burial Park in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.
