COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Emma L. Roberts, 74, were
held today in the chapel of Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond White officiating and burial following in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Roberts, native of Jackson County and the daughter of the late Amos and Mary Langford Mayberry, died Sunday, May 24, in Cookeville General Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Lonnie W. Roberts; four daughters, Vivet McBroom, Reba Gentry, Pat Jones, all of Cookeville, and Linda Gaines of Clarksville; four sons, James Roberts of Sparta, Cotton Roberts of Cookeville, Paul Roberts of Warren, Michigan, and Kenneth Roberts of Baxter; 22 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren; a brother, Lewis Mayberry of Carthage; three sisters, Aline Allen of Hilham, Nora Chasteen and Besty Allen of Cookeville.
Mrs. Roberts was a member of Dodson Branch Free Will Baptist Church.
