Margaret Ione Krebs Whitaker, 89, of Pascagoula, MS passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Mrs. Whitaker was born January 14, 1921 in Pascagoula, MS to the late Monroe and Carrie Krebs. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Lee Edward Whitaker in 2009. She is survived by her son, Robert Whitaker of Pascagoula, MS ; a sister, Joann Wells and her husband, Hurlan of Moss Point, MS; a brother, Tommy Krebs and his wife, Martha of Helena, MS and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Friday September 10, 2010 from 9:00 to 10:00 at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home with service 10:00 in the Chapel with Father Tony Arguelles officiating. Interment will conclude services at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS . Pallbearers for the service will be Buddy Lovorn, Julius Adkins, Scott Holliday, Billy Clark, Mark Romero, and King Byest. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
