HERBERT H. HOFMANN, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, June 26, 2009. Born July 9, 1922, in Willshire, Ohio, he was the son of Theodore and Molly (Schinner) sic[Schinnerer] Hofmann. "Herb was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather." His joy in life was his family, and riding motorcycles. Surviving is his wife of 57 years Mary Lou; son, Patrick Hofmann of Fort Wayne; daughters, Ann Marie (Randal) Sordelet of Fort Wayne and Molly Martinez of Heath, Texas; sister, Velma Ehlerding of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Brooklyn Ave., with visitation one hour prior. No flowers please, send memorials to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home or Masses.
