Harry H. Harding Sr., 57, was stricken with a heart attack Tuesday afternoon while cleaning snow from the steps at Bedford United Presbyterian church where he was employed as custodian, and died a short time later. He was employed at Baer's for 19 years, and church custodian for five years.
Mr. Harding was a native of Guernsey county, coming to Canton 28 years ago. He was a member of Bedford church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Bernice Billman Harding of the home; three sons in the Navy, Harry Jr., storekeeper first class in the South Pacific, J. Fred, carpenter's mate, first class, home on leave from the South Pacific, and William S, Harding, chief electrician's mate; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Golden of Canton and Mrs. Mary Rodocker of Massillon, and one grandson.
