NILES – Robert C. Bachman, 67, of 1453 Sioux Tr., died at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday in Pawating Hospital after an illness of five months.
Self employed as a Plaster, he was an Army veteran of World War II. He lived here all his life.
Surviving are three brothers, Walter, Clarence and Leroy Bachman, all of Niles and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Abreu of Miami, FL, and Mrs. Ted (Joan B.) Spenner of Niles with whom he made his home of the past 13, years.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Pifer Chapel of the Swem-Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Arlan Schlundt of St. Johns United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
