Funeral Services for Clarice Evelyn Calhoun Morgan, 85, of Athens are scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at Faith Fellowship Church with the Rev. Jim Rawlings officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens, under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.

Pallbearers are Scott Morgan, Doug Morgan, Matt Robertson, Mickey Mutchler, Chris Hood and Mike Sheeley.

Clarice went to be with her Lord on Friday, Sept. 10, 2010.

She was born Sunday, Sept. 14, 1924, in the Bethel community, Athens to Lee Calhoun and Grace Corley. She married Robert Morgan on Dec. 22, 1941, in Athens. Clarice loved fishing and camping.

She retired from Hollywood Vasserette after 30 years of service. She was a member of Ash Baptist Church.

Clarice was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Morgan; her parents; sister Alla Bea Paris.

She is survived by daughters, Bobbie Morgan-Wilson and husband Rick of Athens, Leneata Hall of Athens, Peggy Kennard and husband Ron of Athens and Jan Delaney and husband Mike of Sherman; son Jimmy Morgan and wife Lillie of Mesquite; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
