NAUGATUCK — Mrs. Imelda (Ayotte) Madore, 96, of 151 Anrew Ave., died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Eldrige Madore.

Imelda was born in Hamlin, Maine, on June 13, 1914, daughter of the late Alexis J. and Hermine (Pelletier) Ayotte. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Van Buren, Maine, and came to Waterbury at the age of 20 having lived in various Waterbury area towns, settling in Naugatuck. She was a devoted homemaker and mother having raised her two sons who were her pride and joy. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Naugatuck.

She leaves two grandsons, Brian Madore of Maryland, and Kenneth Madore of New York City, two daughters-in-law, Yuriko Madore of Waterbury, and Maureen Madore of Farmington, N.J., and a grand niece, Monica McIsaac of Milford, Mass. Imelda was predeceased by two sons, Stanley Madore and Daniel Madore, and a grandson, Christopher Madore.

Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at St. Mary's Church, Naugatuck. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. There are no calling hours. Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
