"Daily Journal" Tupelo, Mississippi Wednesday morning No vember 2, 1977 Mrs. Lyles Rites Set 2 p.m. Thursday at Springhill AUBURN COMMUNITY, Miss. Mrs. Zelma Lyles, 57, died Tuesday morning at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a life-time resident of the Auburn community and employed by Reed Manfacturing Co., and was a member of the Hughes Baptist Church. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Springhill Presbyterian Church with burial in the Springhill Cemetery. The Rev. Jack Washington will officiate, assisted by the Rev. James White. Survivors include her husband, Bonnie Lyles; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Stevens; four sons, Roy, Kenneth, James, Tommy and John Lyles, all of Tupelo; one sister, Mrs. Winnie Reed, Amory; three brothers, Charles Kelley, Tupelo, W. R. Kelley, Keiser, Ark., Jimmy Kelley, Dover, Ark.; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be David Webb, Robert Robbins, Bobby Dickerson, David Dickerson, Charles McKnett and David Davidson. The body will be at the funeral home until 1:30 p.m. Thursday when it will lie in-state at the church.
