Mr. Frank Cornwell, former Athens jeweler and an uncle of Charles A. Cornwell, Athens, died yesterday in a hospital at St. Johns, Kans. according to word received today by his sister, Mrs. Mary Cook, Middleport. Mr. Cornwell was 80 years old, and his death leaves his sister, who is 82, the last living member of the family of 13 children.

While in Athens, Mr. Cornwell was associated in the jewelry business with D. C. Cornwell, a brother, who founded the store which is still doing business in Athens under the ownership of Charles A. Cornwell. D. C. Cornwell died two years ago in California.

In 1888, Frank Cornwell went to Kansas and continued in the jewelry business until a year ago, when his store was destroyed by fire. His wife is dead.
