Sylvian Hortense Pease Davis better known as "Sister C.J. Davis Sr." was a member of Church on the Rock Shreveport. She was dearly loved and was a blessing to anyone she met. She would always bring a smile to your face with "PRAISE THE LORD" and a warm hand shake. She loved southern gospel music and would travel wherever she could with her great friend, Thelma (Granny) Porter, as long as her health allowed. She will be dearly missed by all those who love her so much. She spent much of her life as one of the sweetest, friendliest pastor's wife there ever was living in Northeast Texas, Upper Michigan, North Little Rock before retiring to Blanchard La.
