C. Ruth Beam, 89, a resident of Lancashire Hall, Neffsville, died there Wednesday evening after a long illness.
She was the widow of Harry S. Beam, who died in 1971. Her first husband, Theobald S. Bransby, died in 1963.
Mrs. Beam was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Emma Silvius Steele.
Surviving are two children, Donald R. Bransby and Beatrice R., wife of Ira H. Gantz, both of Lancaster; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jennie Baker.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from Redeemer Lutheran Church, 500 Pearl St., Lancaster, PA on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Carl J. Frederick officiating. Interment in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service. The family requests that flowers not be sent.
