Helen R. Plumb, 86, of Columbiaville, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at home.
She was born April 8, 1918, in Marathon Township, to Irvin and Bessie (Pyles)Metcalf.
She married Bert Plumb on June 23, 1938, in Marathon Township.
She was a member of the Columbiaville United Methodist Church and a life member of the Rebekah's 136. She enjoyed her Bridge Club and being a part of the Columbiaville Women's Service League.
She is survived by three children; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Plumb, and parents Irvin and Bessie (Pyles) Metcalf.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation or Columbiaville United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were Tuesday, (Oct. 5) at Columbiaville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Amy Terhune officated. Interment was in Woodland Cemetery.
