OBITUARY - Springfield Daily News, 24 March 1935
F. H. FARRIS
F. H. Farris, 72, 626 East Madison Street, died in his home at 7:10 o'clock last night following a year's illness.
Mr. Farris, a retired grain dealer, who had been a member of the Christian Church all his life, belonged to the South Street Christian Church since coming to Springfield 20 years ago.
Funeral arrangements, under direction of the Alma Lohmeyer Funeral Home, are incomplete, but burial will be in Lockwood.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Emma Farris; a son, C.W. Farris, Springfield; a daughter, Mrs. Estalla Smith, Amarillo, Texas; three brothers, Brad Farris, Alva, Okla., Zack Farris, Ft. Smith, ARk., and Dr. G.A. Farris, Sapulpa, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Linnie Arbogast, Long Beach, Cal., Mrs. Irene Patterson, Long Beach, and Mrs. Lettie Keeney, Eldorado Springs, besides of number of grandchildren.
