LIVINGSTON, MONT. - Edna Alice Titus, 86, formerly of Racine, died Sunday evening, July 25, 2004, at Evergreen Livingston Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Titus was born in Whitewater on July 26, 1917, to William and Lucinda Maas. On March 6, 1940, she married Ralph L. Titus in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on January 22, 1987. Mrs. Titus moved to Livingston, Mont. in October of 2003.
She graduated from Whitewater High School in 1936. Mrs. Titus was a Homemaker. She also worked from 1966 until 1986 in the cafeterias of the Racine Unified School District and was a Caterer at the Racine YMCA. Mrs. Titus was a 50-year member of the Racine Bible Church. She enjoyed traveling to visit her grandchildren, gardening, and sewing clothes for her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Ronald A. Titus of Whitewater; two daughters, Karen L. (Jim) Harrison of Livingston,
Mont. and Julie A. (Haik) Biglari of Frederick, Md.; one brother, Earl (Laurine) Maas of Whitewater; six grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, and one sister.
A family visitation was held at Franzen-Davis Funeral Home in Livingston, Mont. on Tuesday morning, July 27, 2004. Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home, 1212 Lathrop Avenue, on Saturday, July 31,2004, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in Racine. There will be a visitation at the Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to: Livingston Christian Center, 1400 Mount Baldy Drive, Livingston, Mont. 59047; or Racine Bible Church, 401 Wisconsin Avenue, Racine, Wis. 53403.
