Garfield- Frankie Elizabeth Couchman, 83 died June 20, 1993, at St Joseph Medical Center in Wichita. She was born Nov 4, 1909, at Colony, Okla., the daughter of the Rev. Edward Wilson and Merian Rosa Aspley Davison. She was a lifetime resident of Larned and Garfield. She married George H Couchman June 1, 1931, at Hutchinson. He died Sept 10, 1974. She married John M Couchman Feb 14, 1982, at McPherson. He died April 14, 1993. She was a homemaker.
Mrs Couchman was a member of the Garfield United Methodist Church at Garfield, Best in the West Club and Ash Valley Grange, both at Larned, and Order of the Eastern Star at Great Bend.
Survivors include one son, George Harold, Jr., of Wichita; one daughter, Eileen E Donham of Derby; one stepson, Lorraine Couchman of Garfield; one step-daughter, Marilyn Fulton of Larned; six grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and Eight step great grandchildren.
Funeral will e at 10:30 am Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary in Larned with the Rev John Goering officiating. Burial will e at Garfield Cemetery. Friends may call until 9 tonight and from 9 am until service time Wednesday at the mortuary. Memorials are suggested to Larned Emergency Medical Service , in care of the mortuary.
