Funeral services for Veronica "Vonnie" Austin-Muller will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 13, 2010 at Family Life Church with Pastor Martin Crump officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Gillette Memorial Chapel.

Vonnie Austin-Muller, age 60, of Gillette, Wyoming died at her home on Tuesday, September 7, 2010.
Veronica Jean was born on June 18, 1950 in Butte, Montana the daughter of Joseph and Mary Von (Monahan) Beaudion. She was raised and educated in Butte moving to Gillette, Wyoming in 1982. Russ and Vonnie began their lives together in 1984, they made their home and raised their 7 children together until her passing on September 7, 2010.
She spent her whole life caring for and helping others. Vonnie worked with the Muscular Dystrophy Association until the passing of her two sons. Vonnie worked at the YES House and BOCES, helping children daily. Most of Vonnie's time was spent with her children and grandchildren.
She enjoyed reading, camping, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Holidays were always special to her.
When Russ and Vonnie would camp, she would insist he park the camper by the "creek".

Vonnie is survived by her husband, Russell Muller of Gillette, Wyoming; parents: Joe and Carol Beaudion of Kalispell, Montana; sons: Mike Austin, Russ Muller both of Gillette, Wyoming, Vohn (Shar) Muller of Kemmerer, Wyoming and Shawn (Andrea) Muller of Stratford, Iowa; daughter, Monica (Brent) Wasson of Gillette, Wyoming; brothers: Charles Beaudion of Gillette, Wyoming, Mike Beaudion of Alaska, and Joe Beaudion of California; sister, Jamie Zeigler of Ohio; grandchildren: Abbi, Peyton, Hunter, Jordan, Baron, Brandon, Tysha and Isiah.

She was preceded in death by her sons: Matthew Austin in 2003 and Mark Austin in 2007; mother, Mary Von Beaudion, sister, Ann Marie Shorey and brother, Jimmy Beaudion.

A memorial has been established to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association "MDA". Memorials and condolences may be sent in Vonnie's name in care of Gillette Memorial Chapel, 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or condolences via the internet at www.gillettememorialchapel.com.
