37, of Huntersville died Saturday, November 4, 2000 at Presbyterian Hospital. He was born May 13, 1963 in Mecklenburg County to Virginia McCall Ferrell Mills and the late Thurman Franklin Ferrell. Mr. Ferrell was a member of East Belmont Church of God, a graduate of North Mecklenburg High School Class of 1981 and employed with Kwik Copies for eighteen years. Mr. Ferrell, beloved husband, father, son, brother, friend, and son-in-law will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his wife, Regina Rich Ferrell; mother and step-father, Virginia Ferrell Mills and Jerry Mills of Mooresville; son, Richard "Bubba" Ferrell of Huntersville; daughter, Virginia Delores "Ginger" Ferrell of Huntersville; brothers, Thurman Ferrell, Jr. of Belmont, NC, Donald Blain Ferrell of Huntersville; step-brothers, Robert William Stephens of China Grove, NC and Tony Stephens of Charlotte; Jerry Mills, Jr. of Mooresville, Keith Mills of Gastonia, NC; step-sister, Brenda S. Yarbrough of Stanfield, NC.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 8, 2000 at East Belmont Church of God with Rev. Bobby Brackett and Rev. Aron Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Raymer Funeral Home in Huntersville.
