Elizabeth Ann Savage

Elizabeth Ann Savage, 77, was embraced in the arms of Jesus Christ on September 3, 2010. Ann was born on March 14, 1933 in Roosevelt, OK to Leslie Leland and Emily G. (Parker) Craig. Ann attended Oklahoma State University for two years and was an avid Cowboys fan. For over two decades, Ann enjoyed singing with the Oklahoma City Sweet Adelines. Ann was a member of the Meadowood Baptist Church JOY Group and the Red Hat Society and she cheerfully volunteered for several years at Midwest City Memorial Hospital. Ann enjoyed good food, watching movies, singing, traveling and spending time with her family.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Walter Eugene Savage. Survivors include her son, Craig Roberts, of San Diego; sisters, Jane Van Burkleo and Sue Craig, of Midwest City; and a beloved host of cousins, other family members and good friends.

The family will be receiving visitors on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Meadowood Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
