20 May 2021: According to the Perl Funeral Home, at family request the cremated remains of Walter Richard Speare Jr and Walter Richard Speare III were removed from the Siskiyou Memorial Park mausoleum and returned to a family member. Perl would not give me the date removed nor the name(s) of the family members involved.

While safeguarding troop movements, camouflaged enemy guns were spotted and began attacking their position. Under heavy attack, the helicopter crew managed to destroy 3 of the 8 guns. Hit repeatedly,the helicopter was severely damaged and crashed into the jungle.
