Hillman, III "Kelly"

M. E. "Kelly" Hillman, III, 82, of Newark, DE peacefully passed away at home surrounded by loving family on Sunday, September 12, 2010.

Kelly was born in New York, NY on May 3, 1928, son of the late Milton Everett, III and Helyne (Straub) Hillman. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, he was employed as a Design Specialist Manager with the DuPont Company at the former Louviers Site and retired in 1990 after 40 years of dedicated service. Kelly was a member of St. John's - Holy Angels Parish, an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Kelly will be dearly missed by his wife of 48 years, Wilma (Cox) Hillman; his children, Jeanne Anastasi, Milton Everett Hillman, IV and his wife, Patricia and Kim Forte and her husband, Bert; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Samantha, Katie, Kellynn, Sarah, Leslee and Julee; and his great-grandchildren, Buddy and Laina.

He is also survived by his brothers, Robert, Richard, Raymond and Stanley; and his sister, Diane Arbitrio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Angels Church, 82 Possum Park Rd., Newark on Saturday, September 18 at 10 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Rd., Wilm., DE 19810 or Holy Angels Church, 82 Possum Park Rd., Newark, DE 19711.
