Calvin Harberson, 86, of Copper Canyon (formerly of Sanger), passed away at his residence in Argyle.
He was born on March 8, 1924 in Bolivar, TX to William and Mary Elizabeth (Brown) Harberson.He was a member of the Class of 1941 at Sanger High School.On June 14, 1946, he married Evelyna Carolyn Baker in Gainesville.In September 1949, he started classes at North Texas Teacher College and was a member of the graduating class of 1953.Upon graduation, he and Evelyna started their own business worked together until their retirement.
A memorial graveside will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2010 at 10 am at the Bolivar Cemetery.
Calvin is survived by his wife, Evelyna of Copper Canyon; daughter, Carolyn Adams and her husband, Darrell of Copper Canyon; son, Calvin "Cal" Harberson, II and wife, Laurie of Bartonville; sister, Mary Walling of North Richland Hills; four grandchildren, Drs. Ryan and Cindy Knight and their twin girls, Juliette and Lyla of Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. Kari Blankenship of Houston, Trevor and Jennifer Adams and their son, Rowan of Lewisville, and Charity and Steven Toohey and their son, Bond of Dubai,UAE.
