Jackie David Lee of Winona,Mo.,passed away Wednesday,September 8,2010 at St.John's Hospital in Springfield,Mo.,at the age of 60 years.He was born in Willow Springs,Mo., on October 28,1949 to Verl Lee and Ollie (Daugherty)Lee.In his late teens,he worked as a fuel attendant for Hudson Oil before becomming a steel gang worker for the Frisco Railroad.Jackie was drafted in the U.S.Army and served his countru during the Vietnam War.He later known to be a "true Jack" of all trades by working as a logger,lead miner,cable layer,husband,father and papa.In his early adulthood,he met the love of his life,Glenda Kaye Hawkins.They soon were married and set on a journey togeather that lasted 37 years.During this union,they were blessed with one daughter,one son,and three grandsons.Jackie is survived by his wife,Glenda Kaye;daughter Kelly Watson,and her two sons,Zachary and Keaton,of Winona,Mo.,;one son Justin David Lee,and his son,Jordon,of Birch Tree,Mo.,;six sisters;Wilma (Lee)Lawson and husband,Richard,of Fair Play,Mo.,;Evelyn (Lee)Freed of Cabool,Mo.,;Verla Kay(Lee)Pulliam and husband ,Virgil,of Elizabeth,Ar.;Carolyn (Lee) Chowning and husband,Glen,of Cabool,Mo.;Deborah(Lee) Cider and husband,David,of Henderson,Ar.; and Wanda (Lee)Freeman and husband,Paul,of Cabool,Mo.;one brother,Jeryl Lee and wife ,Vicki,Casper,Wy.;two brother-in-law's,Rick Hawkins and wife,Glenda,of Mountain View,Mo.;Eugene Hawkins and wife Karen,of Mountain View,Mo.;one sister-in-law,Tammy Crabtree and husband,Dennis,of Winona,Mo.his life-long friends,Terry and Brenda Lawson of Winona,Mo.;and many nieces,nephews and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents,Verl and Ollie Lee;one brother,Joe Kenneth Daugherty;one brother-in-law,David Freed;father-in-law,Glen Hawkins;mother-in-law,Bonnie Hawkins;one niece,Amber Hawkins;one nephew,)infant son of Rick and Glenda Hawkins).Jackie enjoyed fishing,hunting,and hiking through the great outdoors.He grew up with his sisters telling him exactly how things were.He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.He would spend many hours in his recliner with a cup of coffee watching his favorite driver,Mark Martin,on Nascar.He was a devoted husband,beloved father,loving papa and loyal brother.He will be greatly missed by all those who wewe lucky enough to get to know him.Funeral services were held Saturday,September 11,2010 at the Duncan Funeral Chapel in Birch Tree,Mo. with Bro. Jimmie Friend officiating.Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Duncan Funeral home
