Mrs. Marjorie Ella Deshong, 59, of Harrisonville, died unexpectedly at home Tuesday morning, November 12, 1974. Born April 2, 1915, in Harrisonville, she was the daughter of the late Earl T. Metzler and Rachel Sipes Metzler.
She was a member of the Siloam United Methodist Church and Siloam Ladies Aid Society. Mrs. Deshong was a housewife.
Surviving are her husband, Richard K. Deshong, one daughter, Virginia, Harrisonville and one brother, Lewis E. Metzler, Harrionsville.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 15, 1974 at 2 p.m. at Siloam United Methodist Church, Harrisonville, with Rev. Douglas R. Poffenberger officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Sipes Funeral Home, Harrisonville.
