St. Clair--Ronald J. Gryszkiewicz, 53, of St. Clair, went home to God, Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001.
He was born Sept. 20, 1947, in St. Clair to Lorraine and the late John Gryszkiewicz Sr. He married Patricia A. Rybinski on Nov. 24, 1967, in St. Clair.
His greatest joy in life was his family, especially his grandchildren, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, going up north, singing and dancing, and his love for animals.
He graduated from St. Clair High School. He was in the Army Reserves. He was a carpenter for more than 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patricia; his beloved children, Denise (Ben) Zimmer, Renee (Joe) Westrick and Jennifer, Rachel and Daniel Gryszkiewicz; grandchildren, Jordan , Atalie and Noah; his mother, Lorraine Gryszkiewicz; his sister, Kathy (Tom) Beers; his brother, John Gryszkiewicz Jr.; his aunt and uncle, Genevieve and Cass Hutkowski; his father and mother-in-law, Harry and Alice Rybinski; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Cathy and Tom Markel, Harry Rybinski Jr., Frank and Pam Rybinski, Ed and Deb Rybinski, Rich Rybinski, Peggy Rybinski, Don and Sharon Rybinski, Joe and Dawn Rybinski and Geri and Randy Goniwicha; many nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Gryszkiewicz Sr., and sister, Carol "Carrie" Gryszkiewicz.
Ronald has been a wonderful part of our lives. He will be remembered by all who lived and met him.

Visiting hours are 6 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Township. 
Services will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral home, with the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Phillip Neri Church, Columbus Township. The Rev. Erwin Bauer, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Phillips Cemetery. A Scripture service will be Tuesday at 7 p.m.
