Daniel W. Pierce, aged 77 years, a lifelong resident of Ontario County died at his home in Phoenix Street this morning following a several years illness. He was born in Bristol and had resided there 27 years. His wife, Madeline Rogers of Michigan, died four years ago. Deceased leaves three sons and two daughters, Perry R. Pierce, Roy C. and William C. Pierce, Miss Lena B. Pierce and Mrs. Lulu P. Farnsworth all of this city. Five brothers, Leighton, George and Melvin of Canandaigua, James Pierce of Bristol, and Benton Pierce of Reed Corners. Eight grand children and one great-grandaughter. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
