W. S. (Schuyler) Stuart, 76, died in a local hospital after a short illness. He was born October 20, 1886 at Kissee, Mo., the son of William and Elizabeth Stuart.

He was a retired city water department employee; a long-time resident of Washington County and a member of the Bible Mission Church.

Survivors include one son, James Stuart of Lindenwold, N.J.; one daughter, Mrs. Billie Barker of Modesto. Calif, and four sisters, Mrs. Ella Burson and Mrs. Agnes Miller both of Fayetteville, Mrs. Eva Sanders of Panorama, City. Calif.. and Mrs. Ora Porter of Kansas City, Kan.
