Tessa Rafuse Neal 1989 Bridgewater Bulletin

Tessa Neal, member of the General Lodge of Rebekahs, and long-time resident of the Odd Fellows Home, passed away at Worcester County Hospital, after a long illness, on June 18, 1989, at age 99.

Mrs. Neal was born in Conquerall Bank, Nova Scotia, the eldest of the Allan Rafuse family. She had lived in Newton and Belmont, Ma., for many years.

She is survived by a daughter, Vivki Ross of San Clemente, California; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; also four sisters, Kathleen Anderson of Belmont, Ma.; Vera Pearson of Chelmsford, Ma.; Amy Bell and Elsie Corbin, both of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia; two brothers, Harry Rafuse of Bridgewater and Captain Allan Rafuse, of Smith's Falls, Ontario.

Mrs. Neal's first husband, Elzer Bourque, predeceased her in 1929; also her second husband, Rinaldo Neal in 1955.

A beautiful graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m. June 21, 1989, in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown, Mass.
