Dana Achinger, age 42, of Lyons, passed away early Thursday morning, September 16, 2010, at Perrysburg Hospice Inpatient. She was born in Toledo on March 16, 1968, the daughter of Kenneth James and Kristeen (Colchagoff) James and father, Michael Rice and they survive. Dana most recently worked as a staffing administrator with Employment Plus in Perrysburg. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sayde B. Achinger and father-in-law, Joseph E. Achinger. In addition to her parents, Dana is survived by her loving husband, Donald Achinger; sons, Joshua (Christina) Achinger of Florida, Benjamin Achinger of Toledo and Nathaniel Achinger on Delta; sisters, Koran (Kent) Gasche of Delta and Jemelle (Todd) Sintobin of Wauseon; grandparents, Robert Colchagoff and Patricia Fleischmann; grandmother, Dorothy Rice; mother-in-law, Judith Achinger; canine companion, "Holly" and many loving aunts, uncles, nephew, nieces, cousins and special friends. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Sunday, September 19, 2010, at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109, in Delta; where a funeral service celebrating Dana's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday.
