Mrs. Genevieve Pierce of 78 Clay St., North East, died Sunday (May 3, 1959) at Bethel Convalescent Home, Erie. She had had a lingering illness for the past six years. The former Genevieve Heeter, she was the wife of Cecil H. Pierce. She lived in this area for the past 25 years. Born in downstate Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Iona Shaffer Heeter. Survivors besides her husband include two brothers, Raymond Heeter of Bradford and John C. Heeter of Emlenton, PA. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Marks Funeral Home, 65 S. Lake St., North East. Services will be held there at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. I. M.
