MRS. W.M. SAYE is Taken By Death In Local Hospital
Mrs. W.M. Saye, 73, died in a local hospital this afternoon following an illness of several weeks.
She was the mother of Rev. R.N. Saye and sister of Mrs. Young Davis and Mrs. B.O. Sisk, all of Athens.
In addition to these, Mrs. Saye, widow of the late Rev. Willie Saye, is survived by a daughter, Mrs. I.T. Franklin, Decatur; two other sons, Roy W. Saye of St.Petersburg, Fla.,and Fred W. Saye, U.S. Navy in the Pacific; a brother, Washington Smith, Atlanta; and thirteen grandchildren.
Mrs. Saye had been a resident of Athens most of her life and until she became ill resided at 1452 E. Broad St.
Services will be conducted from Prince Avenue Baptist Church, of which she was a devoted member, date and time to be announced later by McDorman- Bridges, in charge of arrangements.
