Passes Away

Mrs. Julia Plein, aged seventy-three, passed away Sunday morning at 5 o’clock at the family residence, 446 Eagle Point Avenue after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Plein was numbered among the old settlers of Dubuque, having been a resident here for fifty years, attending the Sacred Heart Church in which parish she was a member of the Rosary Society.
She leaves to mourn her loss four sons, John, Joseph, Peter of Dubuque and Michael of Denver, Colo., and four daughters, Mrs. Mary Derneden, Mrs. Minnie Trentz, Sister Mary Celia of St. Francis Convent, all of Dubuque, and Mrs. Julia Strub of Lansing, Ia.
The funeral will take place Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock from the residence to Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be made in Mt. Calvary Cemetery
