Mr. Swanson was born July 18, 1985, in Lexington, Neb. He was a student.
Survivors include his parents, his grandparents, seven brothers, and four sisters.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Brewster High School gymnasium. Burial will be in Brewster Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Brewster High School Athletics, in care of the Brewster Bank or Kersenbrock Funeral Chapel, 745 S. Country Club Drive, Colby 67701.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel. The casket will remain closed.
