Boykin, this Thursday afternoon, December 6, at 3 o'clock at the family residence, 161 Capitol Avenue. Interment at Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers: A. D. Adair, W. M. Ragsdale, Dr. J. H. Goss, Hamilton Weeks, J. M. Mason, Dr. McGarrity.

12/7/1901 - Atlanta Constitution - Funeral Services Conducted Yesterday Afternoon - - - Interment in Oakland Cemetery.
The funeral of Rev. Thomas C. Boykin, who was found dead in bed Wednesday morning, occurred yesterday afternoon. The funeral services were conducted at 3 o'clock at the residence of Mr. Boykin's son, B. M. (Basil Manly) Boykin, 101 Capitol Avenue.
The services were short and simple, no funeral sermon peing preached at the request of the deceased. The Baptist funeral service was read. A number of the friends of the minister attended the funeral. The body was interred in Oakland Cemetery.

12/8/1901 - Atlanta Constitution - Will Probated Yesterday. - - The will of the late Rev. Thomas C. Boykin was probated yesterday in common form before Judge John R. Wilkinson, the ordinary. James C. Boykin and Basil M. Boykin, sons of the deceased, qualified as executors. The estate is valued at $6,500.00 and is divided among five children.
