Leonard J. Phillips, 70, Los Angeles, formerly of Kansas City, died March 12 at a Los Angeles hospital. He was born in Leavenworth and lived in this area 50 years before moving to Los Angeles. Mr. Phillips operated the Leavenworth Enterprise Furniture Co. He was a member of the DeMolay Legion of Honor and a member of the Kansas City Furniture Club. He leaves a son, Larry Stephen Phillips, Los Angeles, and two grandsons. Graveside services were March 15 at Home of the Peace Cemetery, Los Angeles. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
