1 Dec 1893 The funeral services of the late Isaiah Kenison were held at the farm south of city at 2 p.m. Monday...Rev. Line of the First M.E. Church preached appropriate sermon...interment in Gypsum Hill cemetery...born March 25, 1812 at East Pond Plantation in the district of Maine, then a part of Mass. At age of 6 moved to McConnellsville, Morgan Co. Ohio....Married in 1837 to Miss Sarah Adams, and 3 sons, Samuel, now of LosAngelus, Reverdy, living in IO. and Chas. of Zanesville, OH. and a Daughter Mrs. Gillespie of Ottawa Co. are the surviving children of that marriage. His first wife died Mar 26 1857 and in Feb. 1858 he was married to Miss Eliza Hedges of McConnellsville, OH. Two children blessed this marriage; they are Seth Kenison and Mrs. Kate Jones, both living in this co. The deceased was bereaved of second wife only a few months ago. One brother, Asa Kenison of this co. and three sisters, Mrs. Thersa Osborne of Medicine Lodge, Mrs. Lydia lang of Ohio and Mrs. Asnath of Ohio...came to Saline Co. in 1882
