Alberta Shuman Burnsed, 88, died Jan. 18 at home under the care of Hospice Savannah. She was a Bulloch County native and lived in the Black Creek community most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church near Stilson. She was the widow of Carlos Burnsed.
SURVIVORS: a son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Sandra Burnsed of Statesboro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Donald Bell of Statesboro and Emogene and Thomas Bacon of Pembroke; two sisters, Dorena Widenmier and Lois Roberts, both of Ridgeland; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Saturday at Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church, burial in the church cemetery.
