Matthew Scott Resovsky, 35 of Monroe had been battling with complications caused by Leukemia. He passed away
9-18-2010.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. Monday at the Rupp Funeral Home, Monroe until time of services, celebrating his life at 1 p.m. The Rev. B. J. Marlow, senior pastor of Faith Chapel Church of God, Temperance will officiate.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe.
Born August 30, 1975 in Livonia he was the son of Richard and Rita A. (Andrews) Resovsky.
Matt worked with Friends Who Care as a Home Help Aid. He was a member of Faith Chapel Church of God, Temperance.
He came to Monroe in 1977 and was a 1993 graduate of Monroe High School. He received his Associates Degree from Monroe County Community College where he was a member of its Alumni Association.
Surviving are his parents:
Richard (Roberta M.) Resovsky of Sun Lakes, Arizona and Rita (Michael) Gilbert of Monroe;
grandmother, Alice Andrews of Hillsdale
a brother, Andrew C. (Nicole M.) Resovsky of Ypsilanti;
two sisters, Rebecca J. (Andrew) Blaszak of Willis and Elizabeth D. (Robert Behrendt) Resovsky of Wyandotte
six step-sisters, Jennifer M. (Mark) Lemon of Plymouth, Sarah E. (Matthew) Ropert of Plymouth, Adrienne E. (Deagon) Jewett of Northville, LaLainia E. Engel of San Diego, California, Livia A. Engel of Woodhaven and Lacee A. Engel of Sun Lakes, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Maxmillian and Dolores Resovsky and maternal grandfather, Carl Andrews.
