Alma Virginia Wilhite was the daughter of Carl Liston & Mary Eugene (King) Wilhite.
WADDELL, ALMA WILHITE - age 84, of Strawberry Plains, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2001, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was a lifelong member of Lyon's Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Waddell; one sister, and three brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Pat Waddell Moore; three grandchildren, Meredith Falarski of Pinehurst, N.C., Andy Moore of Radford, Va., and Matt Moore of Columbia, Tenn; four brothers, Lloyd, George, Kenneth, and Guy Wilhite; one sister, Mary Nell Hancock, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 13, at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Chapel with the Rev. Scott Childs officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 p.m. Evergreen Chapel, 7426 Asheville Hwy., is in charge of arrangements.
