Ox fought his last fight valiantly against heart failure, but lost in a submission hold that took his life on January 18, 2003.

Dad was born to Wilford (step-father) and Ellen Elizabeth Roberg on September 6, 1931. He married Erna Dean Moore, his life long sweetheart, on March 28, 1948.

Dad spent over twenty-five years as a professional wrestler, was a member of the L.D.S. Church, and served a short time in the Copperhill Ninth Ward Bishopric. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and he truly loved the outdoors.

He is the proud father of five children, Jeanette (Russ) Farnworth, Debra (Greg) Baker, Christie (Joe) Valdez, Don (Pam) Anderson, and Carey (Greg) Tomich; sixteen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. He is survived by his three sisters, Dora (Don) Hill, Gail Fatheringham, and Judy (JR) Chatwin. He is preceded in death by his father and mother; step-father; two brothers; one sister; and grandson.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 27, 2003 at 12:00 p.m. in the Copperhills Ninth Ward Chapel, 6710 West 4145 South.
