Annie G. Dyess
Funeral services for Annie G. Dyess, 76, were held Thursday, Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. from Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. The Rev. James Roberts and the Rev. Murray Robertson officiated the services and burial was at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Freeman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. A resident of Waynesboro, Miss Dyess was a retired public school teacher and a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She died Monday, Oct. 2, 1989, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Miss Dyess is survived by her brother, James Edison Dyess of Mobile, Ala.; three sisters, Ola Bradley of Millry, Ala., and Helen Omega Murray and Marion Gambrel, both of Waynesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
