Shiocton, Wisconsin
Age 89, passed away in Appleton Tuesday afternoon following a lingering illness. She was born October 27, 1884 in Germany and came to the United States with her parents and had been a Shiocton area resident for the past 65 years. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church Ladies Aide, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Rose Beyer of Appleton, Mrs. Ella Lemke of Hortonville, and Mrs. Harold (Hattie) Anthony, Mrs. Orville (Anne) Froehlich both of Shiocton; three sons, George Boelter, Manistique, Michigan, William Boelter of New London and Henry Boelter of Shiocton; a step-daughter, Mrs. Earl (Charlotte) Strutz of Peshtigo; two step-sons, Bob Bates of Appleton, and Ben Bates of Shiocton; a brother Walter Kranz, Brookfield, Ill.; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Lawler of Clearwater, Fla., Mrs. John (Linda) Deltgen, Mrs. Robert (Emma) Bruyette both of Appleton, Rose Kranzusch of Algoma; 40 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at the First Lutheran Church in Shiocton with the Rev. Gerald Hinz officiating. Interment will be in the Town of Bovina Cemetery. Friends may call at the Borchardt and Moder Funeral Home in Shiocton from 3 p.m. Thursday until noon on Friday and then at the church until the hour of service.
