William S. Ramsey Jr. was born to William S. Ramsey and Emma Christina Ramsey. He was educated in the Bartlesville area schools which may have included the Limestone school formerly located at U.S. 75 and U.S. 60 in South Bartlesville. In his teens his education was shifted to the Oklahoma Military Academy in Claremore, where he graduated from High School. In 1946 he enlisted in the U.S. Army and began a Career that took him to Germany and the Korean War. He served about 15 years in the Army until he departed served possibly from health problems in 1961.
He then settled into parking management and the management of movie theatres in Bartlesville. He passed away at the Veterans Center in Sulpher Oklahoma
suffering from heart failure.
