Funeral services for Bessie Scarbrough, 64, of Cookeville, who passed away Feb. 28, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, were held Monday, March 2 from the Chapel of Goff Funeral Home of Monterey. Rev. Bobby Floyd officiated with burial in the Johnstown Cemetery.
Mrs. Scarbroughwas born April 27, 1927 in White County, to Mary Rice Randolph of Cookeville and the late Asberry Randolph. She was a homemaker and attended the Church of God.
Survivors in addition to her mother, include four daughters, Dimple Abrams and Kathy Dicenzo, both of Cookeville, Barbara Cummings of Crown Point, Ind., and Kimberly Chandler of Nashville; three sons, Alex Randolph of Cookeville, and Paul Abrams and James Abrams, both of Nashville; two sisters, Rosetta Jackson of Monterey and Beulah Hunter of Madison Heights, Mich. 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
