Marysville - Edna B. Sorcha, 96, of Marysville died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002. In Marwood Nursing and Rehab.
She was born Aug. 16, 1906, in Port Huron to the late William E. and Hannah Moore Jones.
She married Frank J. Socha Jr., on June 19, 1926, in Port Huron. He died march 1984.
Mrs. Socha was a seamstress and a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Schweihofer of Marysville and Mr. a;nd Mrs. Kenneth (Judy) Langmesser of St. Clair; two sons, Mr. and Mrs Frank (Margaret) Socha III of Ferndale and Mr. and Mrs. David (Yvonne) Socha of Bonita Springs, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p., Thursday in the marsville funeral Home. A rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Socha will lie in state in St. Christopher Catholic Church from 10:30 a.m. Friday until time of the funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
The Rite of Committal will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
