Mrs. Charles E. Diggs
Susan - Mrs. Linda Armistead Diggs, 84, widow of Charles Eno Diggs, died Thursday in a local nursing home following a long illness.
She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Survivors include son, Charles Robert Diggs of Port Haywood; three sisters, Mrs. I. W. Diggs of Gwynn, Mrs. Joseph Harris of Norfolk and Mrs. Ellis Respress of Foster; and a brother, T. Willard Armistead of Dutton.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, conducted by the Rev. James K. Rodgers of Beulah–St. Paul United Methodist Church, and the Rev. W. J. Boyd.
Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, Susan.
