    Gertrude J. Sawitoski, 93, a resident of Aurora since 1944, and formerly of Glen Ellyn and West Chicago went to be with the lord Thursday, October 4, 2001 at Provena Mercy Center Hospital. She was born February 21, 1908 in West Chicago, IL.
    Gertrude was a member of St. Joseph Church, The National Catholic Order of Foresters, The Batavia Historical Society and the St. Joseph Hospital Woman's Auxiliary.
    She is survived by her son, Joel David (Barbara) Sawitoski of Princeton, IL; two daughters, Susan (Lewis) Sisco of Geneva, IL and Louise (Victor) Gilla of LaFayette, Colorado; a sister, Mable Karp of West Chicago, IL; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sawitoski; her parents, Frank and Louise (Liseberg) Loveless; one brother, Raymond Sawitoski; four sisters, Ethel Abel, Alice Marschinke, Helen Varner and Pearl Acker; one granddaughter, Christine Gilla; and one great grandson, Benjamin Miller.
    Funeral from THE DALEIDEN LAKE STREET MORTUARY, Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at 9:30 A.M. to St. Joseph Church at 10:00 A.M. Fr. Jerome L. Leake will officiate with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
