Nellie G. Noland, 90, of Parkersburg, died Wednesday, April 10, in Worthington Manor Care Center following a long illness.
She was born in Wood County, a daughter of the late Spencer and Mary Frances Hawkins Jackson. She was a member of the Sunrise Baptist Church and had retired from Keickheffer-Weyerhauser.
She is survived by three daughters, Mabel White of Uniontown. O., Ruth Farrow and Irene Leota Farrow, both of Parkersburg; two stepdaughters, Bessie Cornell of Waverly and Laura Campbell of Willow Island; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin Noland; two sons, one brother and one sister.
Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Willow Island Baptist Church, with the Rev. Virgil Sallee officiating. Burial was in the Willow Island Cemetery.
The Vaughan Funeral Home in Parkersburg was in charge of arrangements.
