He lived in Huntington Township, Gallia, Ohio, United States for about 10 years and Gallia, Ohio, United States in 1975. William died on 8 July 1975, in Gallipolis, Gallia, Ohio, United States, at the age of 87. He is buried in Vinton Memorial Cemetery, Vinton , Gallia County , Ohio, United States.
